This is the 1st of 3 filings we hold from Effing Brew Company. It is one of 27 fruit beer labels approved in February 2019. It cleared 83 days after it was filed.
From the label“When we thought to come up with a Dirty Blonde Ale, someone said "We should throw some pears in there. Has that been done before?" The name Pearhead is not only a reference to the pears used in our dirty blonde ale, but also an affectionate nod to our neighbors to the east in Teutopolis, Illinois. Take no offense – this recipe is a testament to great beer and great neighbors! "T-Town" is a small, but mighty central Illinois town drenched in history, German heritage, and stories of the glory days. We love this region, community, and its history as much as we love this beer!”
