This week's highlights

If you're hunting for California brewery events this weekend, Saturday, Oct 24, has Wild Parrot Brewing Company's pet portrait drawing session in Pasadena, per its newsletter. Sunday, Oct 25, brings Benny Boy Brewing's four-year anniversary party in Los Angeles, according to Benny Boy.

The week opens with trivia in Berkeley and bingo in Santa Clarita, both on Thursday.

I like that the weekend has a dog costume contest in it. Campsite Brewing Company says it's holding one in Covina, and I'm telling you: a brewery that schedules around the dogs knows its crowd.
