Grand Theft Auto players know Pißwasser and Patriot as the beer in the game. Tripping Animals Brewing of Doral, Florida, now has can labels approved under both names, registered as Pibwasser and Patriot, plus a third called No Mames Vice City. All three are in the public federal label approval database for alcohol.

A label approval is not a release. Federal regulators signed off on what the can says. That tells you nothing about when, where, or whether anyone can buy one.

The three labels

No Mames Vice City (label approval 26281001000145)

  • Applied for October 8, 2026. Approved October 9, 2026.
  • The label calls it a lager. 6% ABV, 16 fl oz (one pint) can.
  • The front label carries the Brewers Association Certified Independent Craft seal.

Pibwasser (label approval 26286001000287)

  • Applied for October 13, 2026. Approved October 15, 2026.
  • The label names the style "Pils". 4.2% ABV, 12 fl oz can.
  • Registered as Pibwasser. The label adds "Pils".
  • Label line: "You're In, For a Good Time."

Patriot (label approval 26286001000291)

  • Applied for October 13, 2026. Approved October 15, 2026.
  • 4.2% ABV, 12 fl oz can. The label says "beer" and prints no style word.
  • Label line: "NEVER REFUSE A PATRIOT."

Who applied

All three list the same applicant: Tripping Animals Brewing, Wild Animals Brewing LLC, 2685 NW 105 Ave, Doral, FL 33172, under brewer's permit BR-FL-21314.

Earlier labels under the same names

October's cans weren't the first try at these names. Earlier approved labels include:

  • Pibwasser, 12 fl oz can, approved September 17 (26259001000293).
  • Patriot, 12 fl oz can, approved September 17 (26259001000320).
  • Keg labels for Pisswasser (approved September 21, 26259001000276) and Pibwasser (approved September 29, 26271001000139).
  • A Patriot keg label, approved September 17 (26259001000317).
  • A No Mames Vice City keg label, approved October 9, the same day as the can (26281001000158).

All of those list 4.2% ABV, except the No Mames Vice City keg at 6%. That earlier trail explains a date mix-up in some coverage, which gives Pißwasser's approval as September 29. That is the Pibwasser keg label (26271001000139). The Pibwasser can label covered here was approved October 15.

Plain No Mames also has approved 6% labels: a 16 fl oz can (approved September 17, 26259001000239) and a 12 fl oz can (approved September 21, 26259001000242).

The GTA connection

GTAVice.net, which first reported these labels, says the No Mames Vice City label carries GTA VI branding. That is per GTAVice.net. Hop Grail hasn't seen the label art.

Tripping Animals announced Pißwasser, Patriot and No Mames on October 20, per Tripping Animals' Instagram announcement. The label approvals don't say who licensed the names, or whether anyone did. GTAVice.net gives GTA VI's release date as November 19, 2026.

What the label approvals don't tell you

No release date, no price, no distribution states, no on-sale date. A Pibwasser can on a shelf in Florida would be a fun thing to see. Right now it exists only as an approved label.
