More LagerAbout this beer
This is the 11th of 11 labels we have from Appalachian Brewing Company, Inc. It is one of 25 amber lager / vienna labels approved in October 2026. Its label was approved 1 day after it was submitted.
From the label“Zoigl! Star is a golden, unfiltered lager. This particular style of beer was originally brewed only in the region of Eastern Bavaria between Franconia and the Czech Republic. The Zoigl Star symbol itself dates back to the middle ages, when this six-angular shape, similar to the Star of David was the sign of brewers. Half of the points in the star represent either a natural element such as earth, air or fire, while the other half represent water, malt, and hops, the three main ingredients used for brewing.”
