“Label states '7% ALC/VOL ALE WITH NATURAL FLAVORS' and 'CHERRY WHIP' as the product name. Back label lists 'CHERRIES, RASPBERRIES, VANILLA' as ingredients. The TTB class code 906 (MALT BEVERAGES SPECIALITIES - FLAVORED) and the explicit fruit ingredients (cherries, raspberries, vanilla) combined with the ale base indicate a fruit beer. The product is not presented as a sour or IPA variant, so fruit_beer is the appropriate classification. The label does not use the word 'sour' or 'kettle sour,' and the fruit appears to be an adjunct to an ale base rather than the defining characteristic of a sour style.”
