A large orange star dominates the upper centre of the label, flanked on either side by a pen-and-ink engraving of wheat stalks and a hop garland below. The composition is symmetrical and framed, with the brewery name in heavy sans-serif capitals beneath the heraldic emblem, the dating line "SINCE 1876" set to either side of the hop motif, and marketing copy in smaller type below. The label is printed in orange, black, and cream on a grey ground.
