A black-and-white photographic landscape dominates the front label: a saddled horse stands in profile against snow-capped Rocky Mountains and coniferous forest, positioned left of centre. The composition splits vertically, with the photograph occupying the left two-thirds and a solid black panel on the right containing the brewery information and regulatory text. The beer name "OUTER RANGE" sits centred in the upper portion in a geometric sans-serif typeface, with the tagline "LEAVE THE LIFE BELOW" above it.
