This is the 58th of 91 labels we have from New Belgium Brewing Company. It is one of 88 fruited sour labels approved in July 2026. Its label was approved 3 days after it was submitted.
A stylized skull surrounded by ornamental foliage fills a red-lined frame centered on a cream field. Tendrils of green leafwork and orange accents intertwine around the skull, which is rendered in deep red with floral or vegetative patterning within its eye sockets and jaw. The composition is symmetrical and heraldic, with the beer name in condensed red caps below the frame.
From the label“Sour ale with prickly pear, jalapeno, and golden lime Creativity literally bleeds from our Carnies, the wacky and wild crew behind our annual bike festival, Tour de Fat, and much of the art you see in our breweries. Inspired by them, Carnie Blood is a margarita-style sour made with deep red prickly pear juice, spicy jalapeno, and a refreshing flash of citrus for the perfect daytime thirst crusher.”
