It is the only filing we hold from Buoy Beer Co. It is one of 117 pilsner labels approved in June 2026. It cleared 2 days after it was filed. The label carries the Brewers Association independent seal.
A hand-lettered illustration dominates the label, depicting a large onigiri (rice ball) with a pink plum filling, held by chopsticks at an angle across a dynamic composition of turquoise and white water waves and pale pink flowers. The beer name appears in outlined sans-serif caps layered over the central subject, flanked by two small circular brewery emblems at the top. The palette is cream-ground with turquoise, brown, pink, white, and black inks rendered in a comic-inked style with bold outlines and clean fills.
From the label“Label explicitly states 'PILS' as the beer name suffix and the Japanese text 'ピルスナー' (Pilsner) appears in the banner at the bottom. The style designation 'LAGER' also appears on the left panel alongside '5.0% Alc/Vol' and '1 PINT (16oz)'.”
