Established in 1575, and spanning 21 generations, Isekado is one of Japan's oldest family-run businesses. Based out of Ise city in Mie Prefecture, the name Isekado translates to "The corner of Ise square", where the company still houses its legacy business of rice cake and soy sauce production as well as its first brewery.”
