A bright blue and grey diamond argyle pattern covers the full label, traditional to Bavarian beer branding. The Confluence Brewing Company crest appears at top left and centre, with the beer name set in heavy condensed sans-serif block caps across a cream-coloured shield in the middle. A rope graphic wraps horizontally beneath the shield. The label is dominated by geometric pattern and heraldic framing rather than figurative imagery.
From the label“Oktoberfest, Märzenbier Oktoberfest beer was originally brewed to celebrate the wedding of Crown Prince Ludwig (destined to become King Ludwig I) to Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen on 12 October 1810. Flash forward more than two centuries, and Oktoberfest is a personal favorite of our head brewer, John Martin, who celebrated his marriage to Katie by buying homebrew equipment on their honeymoon... in October. We use plenty of German Munich and Vienna malt as well as CaraMunich malt to give this beer its rich, amber color and full-bodied character, with toasty notes from the malt. Celebrate your favorite occasion with a mug of this delicious fall brew. Prost!”
