About this beer
This is the 2nd of 12 labels we have from Varietal Beer Company. It is one of 17 west coast ipa labels approved in May 2026. Its label was approved 5 days after it was submitted. The label names 4 hops — Chinook, Nelson, Mosaic Cryo and Simcoe Cryo. The label carries the Brewers Association independent seal.
A bold geometric face constructed from stacked black shapes dominates the centre of the label against a hot pink background with repeating grey zigzag stripes. The face is rendered in a stark, modernist style with angular features suggesting stylized eyes, nose, and mouth. The beer name 'Lady Boss' appears in heavy sans-serif capitals at the bottom, while a scalloped black badge containing the brand name 'Varietal' sits at the top.
