This is the 6th of 6 labels we have from Independence Brewing Co. It is one of 52 barrel-aged stout labels approved in December 2019. Its label was approved 28 days after it was submitted. The label carries barrel-aged on the front. The label carries the Brewers Association independent seal.
From the label“Convict Hill is a robust and heady oatmeal stout with rich chocolate and roasted malt flavors and a silky smooth finish. This limited edition brew was aged in Garrison Brothers' award-winning 2019 Balmorhea bourbon barrels for over 6 months. The result is bold and aromatic, with notes of sweet vanilla and oaky tannins. We hope y'all enjoy this tribute to Central Texas craft.”
