This is the 4th of 4 label filings we hold from Odd Breed Wild Ales. It is one of 41 wild / brett / lambic-style labels approved in December 2019. It cleared 11 days after it was filed. The label carries barrel-aged, fruited on the front.
From the label“Spiffy Kicks is a golden wild ale brewed with imported Pilsner malt, Raw Wheat, Spelt, Rye, and aged hops. Aged in French Oak puncheons and then transferred onto the spent local peaches originally used to create Svengali. Spiffy Kicks presents tropical esters with notes of subtle stone fruit, peach skins, and nougat. Classic Brettanomyces rustic funk and lemony acidity lead to a crisp and bright finish.”
