From the label“Strawberry Ballyhoo is a fruited sour beer that we have released in several forms since 2017. The base beers in each version have been distinct, but it is always meant as a showcase for first-of-season Oregon strawberries. The 2019 vintage is a blend of three beers: two wild beers, both fermented and aged in Pinot Noir barrels, plus a Brett saison fermented in stainless steel. These beers were all brewed between May and August of 2018, and the finished beer has Mt. Hood and Albion strawberries from the 2019 berry harvest. We hope you enjoy the interplay of fresh fruit, funky microflora, and subtle barrel character in this multilayered blend. Cheers!”
