From the label“Old Fashioned Pale Ale is inspired by the classic cocktail. It is brewed with malted barley and rye, and then aged in small batch bourbon barrels for eight weeks. After aging, we add all the elements of an Old Fashioned—fresh orange peel, Luxardo Maraschino cherries, and aromatic bitters—to our brew. The result is a smooth, barrel-aged beer with all the flavors of a classic Old Fashioned. For centuries New Orleans' famed Bourbon Street has inspired good times and fine libation like our Old Fashioned Pale Ale. This handcrafted artisanal brew is aged for months in wooden barrels used to make small batch bourbon whiskey. Bourbon barrel aging intensifies the taste and aroma of the roasted malt and the flavors of a classic Old Fashioned.”
