From the label“Fruits That Begin With The Letter Yuzu is our interpretation of a Belgian-style sour ale, kissed with the peel of California-grown citrus. As with all beers in the Breakside Sour series, this was created as a cuvee, and when we blended the barrels this past fall, we knew that a bright lemon-like note was exactly what would make this beer a slam dunk. This beer is a blend of 9 casks of wood-aged sour beer brewed in 2016 and 2017 and housed for as much as two years in neutral oak barrels. Exotic citrus and tropical fruit co-mingle with some complex Brettanomyces character in this new mixed culture release. Cheers!”
