From the label

During WWI, Hoboken served a pivotal role as the main point of departure and return for US Forces. "Heaven, Hell, or Hoboken!" was a rallying cry by General John J. Pershing, promising a return by Christmas 1917 for the more than 3 million soldiers that embarked out of the city to the European theatre. This American India Pale Ale pays tribute to General Pershing and those soldiers.
