This filing went on record 7 February 2019, before the beer reached a shelf. Every week's new filings, read and delivered Tuesday morning.
This is the 9th of 9 label filings we hold from Great Barn Brewery. It is one of 313 ipa (other/unspecified) labels approved in February 2019. It cleared 50 days after it was filed. The label carries fruited, hazy on the front.
From the label“Label lists 'PINEAPPLEHAZE - Pineapple India Pale Ale - Malt Beverage Flavored With Pineapple (8.2% alc/vol)' — explicitly named as a Pineapple India Pale Ale with pineapple flavoring; TTB class 906 Malt Beverage Specialties - Flavored. The 'Haze' in the name and pineapple fruit addition suggest fruited/hazy IPA character, but the explicit label says 'India Pale Ale' without a hazy substyle designation, so ipa_other is used with fruited modifier. ABV of 8.2% could suggest double_ipa but the label does not say double/imperial, so ipa_other is retained with capped confidence.”
