If you're hunting for Texas brewery events this weekend, two announcements land on back-to-back days. The Brewtorium - North Austin says its Pumpkin Spice Märzen release is Oct 16, and Martin House Brewing Company's newsletter puts the NTX Hot Sauce Fest in Fort Worth on Oct 17.

On the beer side, St. Elmo Brewing Company told readers on Oct 8 that Darrell - Burnt Orange IPA is pouring now.

I like that one of these is a seasonal lager release and another is a hot sauce festival at a brewery. Different crowds, same weekend.
