This week's highlights

Looking for Illinois brewery events this weekend? Start with Chicago. Per Goose Island Beer Company's newsletter, Prop Day is Nov 7 at its Fulton Street Taproom, and Revolution Brewing says its November Deep Wood Release is Nov 6 at the Revolution taproom.

Out in Elk Grove Village, Mikerphone Brewing's newsletter lists a Stern Pinball/Stern Army Pinball Tournament on Nov 5.

I'll say it flatly: a pinball tournament at a brewery is a better use of a Thursday evening than most things I can think of. Goose Island sent its announcement on Oct 6, so that one has been on the calendar for a while.

The breweries also announced new beers this week, though none are listed in this article. The full list below the article has them.

Before you go

These are the breweries' own announcements from their newsletters, and plans change, so check with the brewery before you head out. Nobody at Hop Grail has tasted these beers or been to these events; the full list below the article has everything announced for the week.
