Smooth easy drinking German style dark lager with a beautiful garnet hue. Hints of caramel, dark chocolate, & toasted bread crust balanced with restrained noble hop additions. We boil down the 1st runnings from the mash followed by an extended boil for increased kettle caramelization and pronounced toasty Maillard reactions. Lagered for a minimum of six weeks and naturally carbonated utilizing the traditional German Spunding technique.
