A deep red amber ale w/ full body and rich flavor but smooth and easy drinking. Honey malt and pure Ohio maple syrup added at the beginning and end of fermentation impart a mellow sweetness, balanced out by mild Columbus hop bitterness. Steeped for several days toward the end of fermentation with whole Mexican vanilla beans for an extra warming spiced smoothness.
