An old American style that originated in the latter half of the 1800s and survived Prohibition, this ale historically was brewed as a counterpart to American lagers. Unlike its name implies, it does not contain any actual cream, with flaked corn being the unique ingredient. It is crisp and crushable with a light body and a delicate hop profile.
