We were able to get our hands on a few wet, recently emptied Rye Whiskey barrels from our friends and neighbors at Tattersall Distilling so we filled up two of them with Über Alt. Über is a great base beer to age in oak barrels, as the rich, caramel malt body picks up notes of maple and vanilla as well as a warming booziness. Welcome back Barreled Über.
