Named in honor of the local scenic railway route through Crawford Notch, The Mountaineer is our take on a German-style maibock. A beer meant to celebrate the return of spring, this beer is lighter than most bock beers while still maintaining malty notes. Expect flavors of caramel, honey and lightly toasted bread that is balanced with German hops that provide subtle herbal and floral notes.
