Originating from Cologne, Germany, Kolsch is a style of beer that is very closely related to pilsners and pale lagers in taste, but it's brewed with an ale yeast and fermented colder than ale yeast is used to. The result is a very clean, straightforward beer, but with a Bog twist: We brewed ours using Cascade Hops, which lend it a tad bit more hop backbone than traditional styles.
