The barbed wire behind the butterfly on the label represents what's being done to those people right now: the cages, the detention, the cruelty dressed up as policy. Together, they tell the truth—that beauty and brutality exist in the same moment. And that we don't have to accept it. We made this grapefruit salty gose—because salt melts ice—as a mini-billboard for those who need a little liquid courage to stand up and be counted, or for those that need to take a break after a long day of looking after their neighbors. A PERCENTAGE OF THE PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF THIS BEER GO TO PROGRESSIVE CAUSES. TOGETHER, WE CAN MOVE THIS COUNTRY IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION, ONE BEER AT A TIME.”
