The artwork

A full-bleed illustration depicts a bearded samurai warrior wielding a sword and surfboard amid a tumultuous seascape, accompanied by three masked ninja figures in boats and surrounded by green tentacles emerging from dark waters beneath snow-capped peaks and a purple sky. The composition frames this central action scene within a gold bamboo border, with a vertical red panel bearing Japanese characters on the left and the brewery name in white script across the top. The palette shifts from warm orange sky to cool blue-black waters, with strategic use of cream, green, and the red sun motif characteristic of Japanese iconography.

“Life sure has a funny way of working. Shortly after we announced the re-release of our most popular Sleepy Nazar can, Surfin' Bird IPA, we get an email from a Martial Artist saying that in 2019 Steve did a design featuring him and wanted to know if we'd be interested in a collaboration. Considering we thought we had just done our final Nazar collab, this was an incredible surprise! We're so proud to present to you "Okamura Legend," featuring Martial Artist and Actor Gerald Okamura, known as the "Man of Many Weapons."”
