About this beer
It's the only label we have from Sidetracked Brewery. It is one of 30 amber / red ale labels approved in July 2026. Its label was approved 1 day after it was submitted. The label carries barrel-aged on the front. The label carries the Brewers Association independent seal.
A stylized brain rendered in red and black dominates the center, surrounded by a stormy grey aura and sprouting lightning bolts from its surface. Below the brain sits a railroad track receding into perspective, flanked by two ornate banner scrolls inscribed with "Aged in Bourbon Barrel" and "2026". The composition is framed by thin vertical rules and a cream-coloured background texturized to suggest aged paper, with the brewery's circular emblem at top left and the beer name in heavy sans-serif capitals above the central image.
From the label“The terror is not in the cold or the dark; not in the vines reaching for your soul or the monsters roaming the night. The terror is in your own mind. It can taste your thoughts, bridging the space between worlds through you. You can attempt to run away, you can stand against it as you would a schoolyard bully, but it will take you. It will make you cold. It will control your thoughts and you will become One with all of them. What began as Monster Hunting became a world in which after three long years in the dark of an ancient bourbon barrel it emerges as its own monster, and you are a part of it.”
