About this beer

A loose oil-painted composition of books standing upright on a shelf dominates the front label, rendered in cream, ochre, rust, blue, and black with broad brushstrokes and visible impasto. The spines and pages of the volumes fill most of the space in a landscape-oriented vignette, evoking the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. The beer name is set in monospaced caps centred below the illustration, with "European-Style Lager" in smaller type. A secondary lockup in the lower left combines a stylised "NC" symbol with the brewery name in sans-serif caps.
