The artwork

A full-bleed photographic background of a swampy forest floor—mud, fallen branches, marsh grasses, and mottled earth tones in browns and olive-greens—anchors the label composition. Overlaid at centre is an ornate engraved emblem of a stylised creature or serpent in white line-work, flanked by the Tree House Brewing Company logo (a circular white emblem) at upper left and regulatory text at upper right. The beer name "MUD SEASON" appears in large distressed sans-serif caps across the lower third in white with a textured, weathered finish, accompanied by the tagline "WHITE INDIA PALE ALE · LIVE WELL, DRINK FRESH" in smaller type below.

“Mud Season is a White IPA crafted in honor of winter's final trial of our spirit. Pouring a cloudy yellow hue, heaps of foam rise above the glass. A wintry charge of Centennial hops brings forth notes of flowing pine sap, grapefruit rind, and lemon candy. These bright, hoppy aromas are tempered by a fluffy body, courtesy of a hefty dose of doughy wheat malt in the grist. It's a season without a home, suspended between frozen ground and spring rains. What was once a powdery coating petrifies into icy stone before cracking like a whip through the forest. Hungry roads slosh like slow-moving rivers, devouring tires and boots alike. The days wade through the floodplain until the exhausted debris settles, exhaling green shoots and fresh petals into the warming air.”
