The artwork

A classical merchant vessel with billowed sail dominates the centre of the label, rendered in a detailed engraving style with golden-brown and cream tones against a slate-blue sky dotted with white clouds and a crescent moon. The ship bears a ram emblem on its sail and navigates stylised blue-green waves, with tan mountains visible along the horizon. The beer name appears in large serif capitals at the top in gold with a dark outline, while 'LAGER' and the tagline 'THE BEER OF LEGENDARY VOYAGES' sit below the ship in serif type, all set within a framed horizontal composition on a grey ground.

From the label

Named after the legendary ship Argo, this beer celebrates the timeless spirit of courage, discovery, and adventure. According to Greek mythology, the Argo carried Jason and the Argonauts on their quest for the Golden Fleece to the ancient kingdom of Colchis, on the eastern coast of the Black Sea in present-day western Georgia.
