It was brewed under contract — Jackalope Brewing Company, Tacoma and Hoyt, LLC holds the permit, which is ordinary in the register and easy to miss on a shelf. The label carries the Brewers Association independent seal.
Two stylized roosters in bold comic-inked style flank the beer name "THE SPECIAL DUBBEL" in large white sans-serif caps, centred on an orange field. Each rooster is rendered in black, yellow, and maroon with exaggerated plumage and posture.
