This is the 7th of 10 filings we hold from Birrificio Italiano. It is one of 17 hefeweizen labels approved in June 2026. It cleared 1 day after it was filed. The label carries the Brewers Association independent seal. It is an imported label, filed for US distribution.
A stylised face with large circular eyes and curved features dominates the label, rendered in brown and gold against a mustard ground. The design spans the full width horizontally, with the beer name "VÙDÙ" set in heavy sans-serif capitals above the face and "DARK WEIZEN" in gold type overlaid across the eyes. A circular emblem reading "BIRRIFICIO ITALINO" sits at the centre-bottom, with the ABV and volume specifications flanking it; regulatory and ingredient text occupy the left and right margins in small type.
From the label“VÙDÙ A dark ancestral wheat ale inspired by the *Weizen Dunkel*— the traditional dark wheat beers of Germany. Among the malts used is "Grano di Miracolo"— an ancient variety of roasted Italian wheat from Birrificio Italiano. Rich in aroma, this beer sports the classic phenolic and estery notes one would expect from a Weizenbier (ripe banana, clove, fresh yeast) together with the milk chocolate and toffee nuance contributed by the roasted malts. Mouthfeel is round and thick, almost "chewable" and full-flavored.”
