From the label“Label explicitly states 'Nigiri West Coast Style Pale Ale'. The style designation 'West Coast Style Pale Ale' is printed directly on the label. However, the taxonomy classifies West Coast-style pale ales under 'west_coast_ipa' when they are hop-forward IPAs. The label says 'Pale Ale' not 'IPA', but 'West Coast Style' is the defining characteristic of west_coast_ipa in the taxonomy. Given the explicit 'West Coast Style' designation and the 5.8% ABV (consistent with a pale ale rather than a full IPA), this is best classified as west_coast_ipa per the taxonomy's inclusion of 'clear IPA' and west coast characteristics. The keg format (5.17 Gal) and self-production by Fort George Brewery in Astoria, OR are confirmed by the brewed & packaged statement.”
