The artwork
A two-colour engraving occupies the centre field, depicting a tiger drinking from a waterfall with a mermaid seated on a rock below, set against a landscape of cascading water and vegetation. The composition is framed top and bottom by decorative elements: the DOS SIRENOS brewery emblem with mermaids and hops above, and the beer name and style information below in sans-serif capitals. The cream ground is bounded by dark navy vertical bands on either side.
