About this beer
This is the 2nd of 2 labels we have from Spiral Brewery. It is one of 36 fruited sour labels approved in May 2026. Its label was approved 1 day after it was submitted. The label carries fruited on the front. The label carries the Brewers Association independent seal.
A large hop cone rendered in cream outline dominates the center of the label, set against flowing abstract waves of lime and forest green. The Spiral Brewery monogram appears twice — once as a small circular badge on the left panel and again as initials within the hop cone itself — while the beer name and style line the top and bottom edges in condensed sans-serif caps. A vertical panel on the left contains brewery information and tasting notes on a cream ground.
From the label“At Spiral Brewery, we like to keep things local, and in that spirit, we created a sour series to honor our local bodies of water. For this iteration, we are paying homage to Lake Byllesby. Packing loads of fresh flavor with pear and ginger purées, this sour highlights these flavors on top of a tart, but approachable, American Sour Ale.”
