About this beer
This is the 5th of 6 labels we have from Cervecería Modelo, S.A. de C.V. It is one of 9 mexican lager labels approved in December 2024. Its label was approved 5 days after it was submitted. It's imported by OZ TRADING GROUP INC; its label was approved for US sale.
The label centres on a large scripted "Victoria" wordmark in black brush script, with a swooping flourish above, set against a pale gray starburst. Below sits a yellow oval cartouche containing a line-engraved figure of a cherub or putto in period dress, flanked by two smaller circular emblems in similar engraved style. The ground is a bright mustard yellow, with the starburst and oval cartouche shapes creating a tiered, symmetrical composition. Type is minimal—"CERVEZA" and "BEER" in sans-serif capitals at top, brewery name and volume at bottom—on a finish that reads as flat, matte print.
