From the label“Story Time: Yes, Joseph Stalin is revered as one of the most ruthless and evil men of the 20th century. During the alliance against the axis powers in WWII, Stalin was nick-named "Uncle Joe" by US President Franklin Delano Roosevelt to try and warm the western public's opinion of the soviet dictator; the nickname stuck. Who better to inspire a beer that is dark, heavy, bold, and Russian than a man whose nom de guerre roughly translates to "man of the steel hand". Though he is likely unworthy, raise your glass and give a "Za Zdarovje" (Nah zda-rovh-yeh) for Uncle Joe!”
