From the label“Rum barrels aren't easy to work with. After years of bouncing around the Caribbean, they can be leaky and generally fickle. But then, repale the taste that comes from that barrel and your palate will pop with delicious coconut and molasses notes. We brewed a Belgian-inspired golden ale with ginger root, aged it for over 15 months in rum barrels, then aged it further, adding some amazing Tiki love-vanilla bean, lime zest and toasted almonds, delivering a beer that's equally delicious on a Summer night on the coast or a Winter's eve hunkered down, waxing nostalgic for warmer climes.”
