This filing went on record 20 November 2019, before the beer reached a shelf. Every week's new filings, read and delivered Tuesday morning.
This is the 84th of 87 label filings we hold from Hoax Brewing. It is one of 130 ipa (other/unspecified) labels approved in November 2019. It cleared 13 days after it was filed. It was brewed under contract — Overshores Brewing Co holds the permit, which is ordinary in the register and easy to miss on a shelf.
From the label“On a cold New England night, we convened under the pale moon at the church of Bone Wish to brew a potion of great importance, as it is the first step in our ritual of the acid communion. We sacrificed the soul of one of the dark lord's most holy creatures. We then used the bones of the holy goat to brew the potion that will summon the witch in the cellar on our most sacred of nights, hell night. After the brew we let our potion transform in a vat emblazoned with the symbol of our dark lord for weeks before it would be ready to serve to our disciples. We present to you in this can the Bone Church Brew. Imbibe.”
