This filing went on record 18 November 2019, before the beer reached a shelf. Every week's new filings, read and delivered Tuesday morning.
It is the only label filing we hold from Marsh Island Brewing. It is one of 19 fruited ipa labels approved in November 2019. It cleared 12 days after it was filed.
From the label“Label explicitly states 'Island Escape India Pale Ale with Lactose, Pineapple, and Coconut' — the product name and checkbox confirm this is an IPA with added fruit (pineapple and coconut), making it fruited_ipa. The keg collar shows 1/6 BBL (5.2 gallons = ~5208 ml). Brewed and kegged by Marsh Island Brewing, Orono, ME. No ABV printed on the label. The TTB class code 906 (Flavored Malt Beverage Specialty) reflects the fruit/lactose adjuncts but does not override the explicit 'India Pale Ale' designation on the product itself.”
