This filing went on record 18 November 2019, before the beer reached a shelf. Every week's new filings, read and delivered Tuesday morning.
It is the only label filing we hold from Pariah Brewing Co. It is one of 25 stout (other/unspecified) labels approved in November 2019. It cleared 13 days after it was filed. The label names 2 hops — Nugget and Goldings. The label carries the Brewers Association independent seal.
From the label“EMBRACE THE DARKNESS What you are holding is a beer that predates the very existence of our little company. Originally brewed on our brewmasters kitchen stove in 2010, it has remained approximately the same beer ever since. Damn near pitch black with hints of crimson red, it is chock full of deep notes of bakers cocoa and coffee. Our proprietary yeast strain brings dark fruit aromas to the flavor party that's rounded out by the addition of raw fair trade cocoa nibs and the most chocolatey coffee we could get our hands on. Excellent when paired with stews, tiramisu, or simply used to make affogato.”

The filing names its hops — Nugget, Goldings — which is enough for a real starting point.
