This filing went on record 19 November 2019, before the beer reached a shelf. Every week's new filings, read and delivered Tuesday morning.
This is the 10th of 14 label filings we hold from LIC Beer Project. It is one of 118 double / imperial ipa labels approved in November 2019. It cleared 20 days after it was filed.
From the label“Label explicitly states 'Imperial India Pale Ale' and 'S.5% Alc./Vol.' The fanciful name is 'IMPERIAL INDA PALE ALE' (note: typo for 'India'). At 8.5% ABV, this is a double/imperial IPA. The keg collar format with 15.5 U.S. Gallons (58,673 ml) confirms this is a keg product. Producer statement reads 'Handcrafted and Packed at LIC Beer Project, 39-28 23rd St., Long Island City, NY 11101' with no 'FOR' language, indicating self-production.”
