This filing went on record 20 November 2019, before the beer reached a shelf. Every week's new filings, read and delivered Tuesday morning.
This is the 23rd of 36 label filings we hold from Samuel Adams. It is one of 9 barleywine / strong ale labels approved in November 2019. It cleared 33 days after it was filed. The label carries barrel-aged on the front. It was brewed under contract — American Craft Brewery LLC holds the permit, which is ordinary in the register and easy to miss on a shelf. The label carries the Brewers Association independent seal.
From the label“Sam Adams is Cincinnati's oldest craft brewer. Since opening our taproom in 2008, we've put our heart into brewing small batch beers inspired by Cincinnati's rich brewing history and culture. In 1997 we moved into the brewery on Central Parkway that was once home to Hudepohl-Schoenling. Today we proudly carry on the important tradition of brewing beer in Cincinnati for our neighbors, friends, and family. Cheers!”
