From the label“Around the brewery we listen to a lot of reggae, drink a fair share of coffee, and are devoted to our barrel aging program. In 2015, we had a dine off imperial stout aging in barrels for close to a year. These barrels had a high drying effect on the vanilla character, but were asking for a boost. Stauff's coffee roasters in Columbus, Ohio nailed the perfect roast that some authentic Jamaican blue mountain coffee to compliment this barrel-aged stout. The illustration on the label is of Charlie Joe's swing-a-line noble record shack which was notorious for broadcasting the 'champion sound' an additional conditioning on toasted coconut adds even more island vibes to this decadent coffee stout.”
