From the label“Aged with American Oak, this ale focuses on malt color and flavor, finishing crisp and a wee bit sweet. Built in 1912, Marquette's Ore Dock was an integral part of transferring the vast mineral resources of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The dock revolutionized the shipping industry and the transportation of iron ore, allowing rail cars to unload ore (Taconite Pellets) by gravity to huge lake freighters positioned below.”
