From the label

“Inspired by the flavors of New Orleans's famous Vieux Carré cocktail, French Quarter is a luscious and rich rye wine-style ale. Three types of malted rye form the base of this extravagant beer, which then aged fifteen months in American brandy barrels. Find aromas of nougat, red grape, chocolate malt ball, marshmallow, sweet caramel, and orange in this complex ale. Like our other cocktail-inspired beers, we encourage you to experiment with how you drink it. In true NOLA fashion, feel free to pour this over a large cube of ice in an Old Fashioned glass, garnished with a lemon twist or a brandy-soaked cherry!”
