From the label“ALWAYS GOLDEN Visionary Bavarian brewer Josef Groll brewed the first Pilsner Urquell on October 5th, 1842. It was a gold, crisp and clear lager in a world of dark beer, and became the pilsner that inspired all pilsners.”
